Our potent formulas are based on herbalism, naturopathic medicine, aromatherapy and took years to develop. Completely free of parabens, phthalates, synthetics and petrochemicals, we use ingredients plucked directly from nature that provide profound nutritional benefit for your skin like organic pomegranate oil with a rich ruby hue or the brilliant green leaves of wild nettle. We never test on animals, our entire product line is 100% vegetarian and we have lots of vegan products too. Natural is not a marketing gimmick for us. It’s the way we’ve been doing business since the very beginning.
Small Is Beautiful
Despite our growth, Nicole, the CEO, still personally formulate every recipe and our entire product line is handmade in small batches by our wonderful crew at our Headquarters in New York’s Catskill Mountains. Turning down opportunities to mass-produce and sell out time and again, we continue to value quality over quantity and take an artisanal approach to manufacturing. We are essentially the cosmetic equivalent of the slow foods movement. You won’t find us on every corner and that’s how we like it.

 Sustainability isn’t about complex processes but rather combined simplicity and respect for the planet and its inhabitants. At Talulah, we have a long demonstrated commitment to the health of our environment, community, customers and employees.
We have a passion for doing things the old fashioned way. Using human powered manufacturing practices at our Catskill headquarters results in virtually no carbon footprint and ensures the small batch quality we crave. The spent organic plant material from the formulation of our products is composted onsite and used in our gardens. Researching the origin of all our ingredients, we only use those that meet our strict guidelines for purity, sustainability and quality.
Despite the high cost, we continue to only bottle in clean, healthy and recyclable glass, right down to our samples. Always minimalist in our packaging style, we forgo flashy packaging that ultimately winds up in a landfill.
This same common sense approach is applied at our company headquarters where we operate on green power, recycle like it’s going out of style and apply strict waste reduction methods across all company channels.
